History of BuggyPod
The Company was established by mother of three Stephanie Rohl. Stephanie was frustrated by the limitations of strollers and double buggies and with the support of a development grant from the Department of Trade and Industry, she invented the Buggypod - a clip-on foldaway sidecar that attaches to a pushchair to instantly expand child carrying capacity to accommodate a weary toddler.
Today the Buggypod is sold in over 20 countries and has won many prizes for design and innovation. We specialize in flexible pushchair solutions geared for the modern family. The key to our success is innovation with compact designs combined with functionality and flexibility.
Buggypod is sleek and gorgeous; with a soft concertina fold footrest, luxury seat pad and a 5-point harness. The Buggypod range also features a seriously cool raincover and sunshade, and Comfort Liners to provide added comfort and colour - available in red, blue, sand and black.
The perfect answer for parents who don't want a double pushchair but whose first-born needs a safe comfortable ride from time to time. Buggypod Smorph attaches easily to pretty much any pushchair on the market, transforming it into a two-seater when needed, and folding up neatly when not.
Buggypod has been designed to provide a means of transporting two children together - in the most flexible, comfortable, safe, fun - and not forgetting stylish - way we could find.
